2020 Residential Camps


Dates: (June 16-20th)

The Coerver Crush Camp is CELEBRATING ITS 12th ANNIVERSARY YEAR!! 
This camp centers around three main themes:

  • FUN, on and off the field
  • Creative Soccer Skills Learning, using the World #1 Skills Teaching Method - Coerver Coaching
  • Competition and Play:  to bring the best out of players
  • Intensive Skill Training in the Morning 
  • Tactical session and Tournament Play in the Afternoon
  • Small sided tournaments for Pizza in the evening 

The beautiful campus of St. Olaf College, 35 minutes south of the Twin Cities, is the setting for the best Skills Teaching Camp in the Midwest. 10-13 is the golden age of learning and a perfect age for players to develop using World renowned Coerver Coaching Method.  Coaches are especially selected for ability and passion for coaching young players.  The Curriculum is especially constructed to give a balance of technical development, small sided games, skill competitions and Full-sided Tournament Play. 

Players are supervised 24-7 by coaches, chaperones, a Camp Mom, and certified Athletic trainer.  Coaches have included:  Latcho Kostadinov, Tony Peszneker, Katie Bethke, Ella Maser (US Womens Team), Andres Leza, Kirsten Russell, Amelia Kasten, Josh Roy, Danny Thompson, Steve Bellis,  Phil Walczack, Ollie Wake, Molly Rouse, Tommy Courchene, Tim Bunnell, Matt Larson,  Holly Barton, Lyle Wiebe, Kate McCarthur, Kellie Herman, Patricio Galas, Will Thompins, Lisa Berg, Nicole Tiggs, ....and many other featured coaches, including several from International locations. 

Check in is at the Dormitory Sunday June 16th 2.00-4.30pm.  Check out is Noon on June 20th at the Dormitory.

 CAMP (14 -18 year old players)

Dates: (June 24-28)

The Prep Camp is the ideal preparation for 14-18 year soccer players to prepare for the High School, College or Try-out Period for club soccer.  The camp is for boys and girls and centers around preparing for 11 v 11 play.   The focus will be: 

- Advanced Coerver Skills will be featured along with 
- a massive emphasis on effective first touch and speed of play under pressure
- team tactics, formations, functional and positional play
- the revolutionary new BOX/TRAP defensive counterattack mindset 

Each player will be assigned a team for and 11 a- side tournament and an experienced Team Coach.   Positional clinics will also be featured as well as our traditional "College Talk" when experienced college coaches from D1, D2, and D3 schools will talk about recruiting and commitment levels in college soccer. Of course our evening sessions is filled with soccer tournaments like Wembley and King/Queen of the Hill.  On the last evening, after soccer, we have a relaxing disco in the student union area at St Olaf. 

We recruit College Coaches and Premier League coaches for this camp.  We have had many well established coaches at this camp including Steve Kimble (St. Benedicts) Steve Bellis (Concordia) Nicole Tiggs (formally U of N Dakota) Kirsten Russell (Grinnell) Bryan Ufheil (Winona State) Kate McArthur (Millikin University), John Haws (St. Johns) as well as the best senior coaches in the Midwest and International Coaches too. The Camp is directed by Latcho Kostadinov who will bring 10 years of College, High School and Club Coaching to The Prep Camp.

Keeper Konnection Residential Camp
Goalkeepers Ages: 10-13

Dates: (June 16-20th)

Keeper Konnection will be working alongside Coerver Coaching to provide daily training sessions that will include instruction on the basics elements of goalkeeping, an introduction of some advanced techniques, and plenty of chances to test these skills in a variety of goalkeeping games. Goalkeepers will train each morning with Keeper Konnection staff, and then be coached while they play in goal in small-sided games and competitions with field players from the Coerver Crush Camp in the evenings.

Keeper Konnection Residential Training Camp
Goalkeepers Ages: 14-18 (or by invitation only)

Dates: (June 24-28th)

Keeper Konnection Residential Training Camp is the highest level of goalkeeper training offered in Minnesota each year, and the centerpiece of the Keeper Konnection program. Each day at Keeper Konnection Residential Training Camp includes fun, technically challenging training sessions, demonstrations by high-level goalkeepers, physical training specific to the demands of the goalkeeper position, classroom video analysis, and goalkeeping games. The Keeper Konnection Training Camp curriculum is always fun, but the training sessions are designed to push you to train like a professional, with techniques used by top goalkeeper coaches from around the world. Our sessions will challenge you and give you the physical, technical, mental, and tactical tools necessary to develop into a complete goalkeeper. 

Our goal is simple: Make you a better more prepared goalkeeper in all phases of the game.

The beautiful campus of St. Olaf College, located 35 minutes south of the Twin Cities, is an ideal setting for a residential camp. St. Olaf College has one of the best-rated cafeterias in the nation - the food is simply excellent!

Players are supervised 24-7 by coaches, chaperones, and certified Athletic trainer.
