Preparedness Plan

  • Coerver Administration  
    • Communicate safety measures and expectations
    • Define and distribute return-to-play protocols 
    • Monitor guidelines from health authorities and adjust protocols as necessary
    • Train coaches on return-to-play guidelines, safety measures and training session plans

  • Coerver Staff/ Coaches  
    • Coaches must wear a mask at all times
    • A Coerver staff member must take the temperature of each player before participation
    • All equipment will be sanitized before and after each session
    • Send a player home if they are feeling sick

  • Players  
    • Please wait in car until 10 minutes prior to training start time – No early entrance will be allowed
    • Required to wear a mask upon arrival until training session starts
    • They are not required to wear masks during training but it is recommended to do so
    • At all times possible please practice social distancing
    • Do not share water or food
    • No spitting on or near the training field
    • No high-fives fist bumps or other contact celebrations 
    • Players exit the training field with a mask on as soon as the session has completed

  • Families  
    • Families/ Spectators are not allowed at training  
      • For programs involving youth age 8 or younger, one parent is allowed to attend if they feel necessary.
    • Ensure your child is feeling 100% healthy before allowing them to train
    • Practice routine sanitization of high-touch items
    • Be available by phone during the trainings
Alert Coerver Staff if your player has specific medical needs or is high-risk for severe illness
